Rainy days are ideal for resting indoors with a book. However, in what way do you conquer the boredom when it is necessary for you to venture outdoors? By using paint which is only visible when wet to paint the streets!
This concept by a team of designers from South Korea and Pantone made Seoul lively. Now, at the commencement of the monsoon season, the streets gain vibrancy with bright sea creatures.
‘Motivated by South Africa’s tradition of stressing the significance of rivers flowing, the paintings make use of topographical features in Korea which form a flow of rainwater and puddle in each street, making the street full of vibrancy and color.’
